My beautiful little niece Cara Elise Salvador was born March 17th, 2009 weighing only 4 little pounds. She came into this world with a fighting spirit at the early age of 33 5/7 weeks old. Her mom (my little sis) Michelle was on bedrest for about 6-7 weeks prior trying to keep her in as long as she could. But Cara wanted out sooner than later. We thank God she pulled herself through her stay at ISCU (Infant Special Care Unit) and is at home with her loving family-mom and dad- Mimi and Omar-and two brothers- Jake and Evan.
Now she is a big 5 pounder and getting stronger everyday
The sacrifices we personally make for love and family are what makes us who we are. No one asks us to do it. But looking into the eyes of those who depend and need you easily answers the questions why you do it.Congratulations to the Salvador family for their little princess!
