It's playtime with Alecko and Antonios

Alecko and Antonios were very playful and fun during this portrait session. It was easy to capture the laughter and twinkle in their eyes when they were at play. For me, it was a little bit of work, but that's okay. Their gorgeous smiles were well worth it.Tony and Kristi's beautiful backyard and front yard were the backdrop to this session.

super sweet slider

isn't he so cute?

Antonios taking a sippy cup break. It's hard posing in the sun.

Alecko's favorite red fire engine truck

"ummmm... my shoe is off mommy"

"okay, I'll try and put it back on"

chalk is always good fun on the driveway

Alecko was also looking out for planes

but he found a tricycle to ride on instead

"Bro", as Alecko would call Antonios, also loved the red bike

Alecko loves pushing "bro" in the stroller. And the session ended with Antonios due for a nap, Alecko needing a break from me, and this photographer wanting a nap too (just kidding). Thanks Tony and Kristi for letting me play with the boys again. It's been great!

Rachel

Rachel is nine months old and boy has she grown! It's funny how you forget how fast children grow especially in their first year. From month to month the changes can be minute to incredible, but amazing altogether and bringing joy and happiness in the hearts of their parents. I had another opportunity to photograph Rachel and to do it outside their beautiful home. It was a warm and sunny afternoon and she was ready to go!

Rachel was teething and she was comforted by her fingers of course

oh my!

daddy always had a way of making her laugh and smile

look at how beautifully i sit up =)

what am i doing in a basket?

sweet, sweet girl

Thanks for letting me take your pictures again Rachel. Can't wait to see you when your one!

Cara Elise

My beautiful little niece Cara Elise Salvador was born March 17th, 2009 weighing only 4 little pounds. She came into this world with a fighting spirit at the early age of 33 5/7 weeks old. Her mom (my little sis) Michelle was on bedrest for about 6-7 weeks prior trying to keep her in as long as she could. But Cara wanted out sooner than later. We thank God she pulled herself through her stay at ISCU (Infant Special Care Unit) and is at home with her loving family-mom and dad- Mimi and Omar-and two brothers- Jake and Evan.

Now she is a big 5 pounder and getting stronger everyday

The sacrifices we personally make for love and family are what makes us who we are. No one asks us to do it. But looking into the eyes of those who depend and need you easily answers the questions why you do it.
Congratulations to the Salvador family for their little princess!

let's shoot with mishamedia

A few weeks ago I had a great opportunity to attend a seminar led by Michele (my sister in-law) and Andy Rivera (my brother in-law) of Mishamedia Photography. We had a fun and informative time shooting in the city with a few models. Here were some of my shots.

Rachel

This is sweet, sweet, Rachel Turner. At 6 months-old, Rachel is the apple of her mom and dad's eye. Carey and Marc couldn't be more happier and in love with their beautiful daughter. Rachel is such a sweet and tender baby with a big pocketful of smiles that belong to her parents. Seeing her pretty face light up when her parents tried to make her smile was so much fun to see. She is definitely a happy baby.
peekaboo...i see you

daddy was being silly

I love this picture

too cute

such a pretty girl

from above ...a look of love

What a big girl she was that day and didn't get tired until the end.
She didn't mind the outfit change either.
This portrait session was given as a gift from a dear friend of Carey's, Karen Kane and family. Thank you Karen for letting me meet this wonderful family.
Thanks so much Marc and Carey for allowing me to capture your precious baby girl.

Perkins Twins

There is nothing cuter than an adorable set of twins. This is Collin and Grace who were fifteen months old before Christmas. They were a little camera shy at first, but after a good nap they were good to go. As you can see they do a lot of the same things especially wanting to take their shoes off at the same time. Their parents Suzie and Scott were also wonderful to work with at their beautiful home. Sometimes it's more of a workout for parents to make their children smile. As you can see though, it's always well worth it.
sweet Grace giving us a big smile

handsome big brother Collin

just chillin' and relaxin' together

what beautiful kids! of course, they are laughing at their parents

Thank you Suzie and Scott for inviting me into your home. They are great kids and are lucky to have you as parents too!
